SOUTHERN CROSS CHALLENGE CUPMATE vs MATE, CLUB vs CLUB, STATE vs STATEJuly 6 & 7 @ Sydney Motorsport ParkThe time is now to get yourself, your mates, your club and your state controlling body organised to take on the challenge from the other clubs and states across Australia. An epic weekend of racing with the opportunity to test yourself against the best of the club racers from across the country and represent your club and your state at the same time. The first ever Women only race will be held on the Sunday, to allow that question to be answered, “Who is Australia’s fastest Women?” Outside of the individual results. only the top 2-point scorers per club and state will contribute to the overall point scores from every race across the weekend, this allows any club to win Motorcycle Road Race League Shield and any state to win the Southern Cross Challenge Cup. Cannot wait to unvail the Trophy Names, they will become a part of the Australian Motorcycle History that all clubs and states want to have in their trophy cabinet. With a mix of modern, yesterdays and sidecars on the schedule… the weekend has a grid spot for everyone. Unlimited, 600cc, 400cc, Twins & Singles, Master Superbikes, Retro Superbikes / 600cc, BEARS and the Australian Sidecar Championship. (specifics for classes are in Supp Regs)Get planning and more details soon. Oh yeah, don’t forget to sort out who will be the Club and State Captains, as they will be in charge of the Joker Card to be played for each club and state across the weekend to add to the action… I believe it has the making to be one of those weekends.Huge thanks to Redline Photography for the video. Welcome to the next racers...The St George Motorcycle Club held the Braggers Bracket Racing and a Come Try Racing event last Saturday night. A few took the easy out due to some water falling from the sky - but the night did not see one drop of rain and perfect conditions...The Come Try Racing was the first edition of this event for the club and was met with a capacity entry level. Giving riders a chance to taste the delicious meal of racing... in controlled small grid starts... The club has lessons to be learnt on how to make this event better in the next edition, but wanted to say a huge Well Done and Welcome to the 30 riders who took part. No incidents, no issues, a few jump starts and only one stalled bike. This is what the event was for... work through the race nerves, race lights and starting side by side with a few rides... legendary efforts - thank you.Andrew Burley, Aaron Schereck and Carl Kitson for working the Come Try up and creating such a fantastic initative. Thanks to MotoSchool Australia, Mongrel Boots and Australian Racing Drivers' Club for your continued support in this event and the club. A huge thanks to High Side Photography for the wonderful imagesHope to see more taste testers at the next Come Try event. ... See MoreSee Less

Huge surprise to receive a momento from a kid going places. Thank you Jacob Roulstone #12. I don’t ever do what I do for the sport for anything else except seeing people enjoy themselves racing. To receive a personal thanks like this, just proves this kid has what it takes to be on the top step and means a lot to me be a little part of his story. As Darryl Kerrigan said, “This is going straight to the pool room” ...
